“I want to…win, get what I want, push my idea,” is weak; not inclusive = not effective.
“I want what is best for everyone,” even if it is not “my idea,” = powerful, effective.
Remember: your mood, attitude, or intention will dictate your results.
1. STOP before you compose an email, text, or open your mouth to speak.
2. NOTICE your energy.
3. SHIFT to positive, inclusive, “open to possibilities” energy = “We are all in this together.”
That is an email that works every time.
